Mission Statement
The aims and objectives of the association Skillshare Association are defined in § 2 of the Articles of Association (link). Basis of the selfless work of the association is under the statutes to promote education by
"Free content" within the meaning of the statutes, all factories that are made by their authors under a license that allows anyone to use these works for free to distribute and edit.
The association is registered under the particular purpose to motivate people for voluntary participation in existing or new open-access free Internet-based databases, such as online encyclopedias and online resource collections and to empower through education. Furthermore, the development of the already operating in the production, collection and distribution of free content from Internet-based volunteers in free and every man free-access databases are supported.
For this purpose, the association will develop, plan appropriate training programs, and execute and establish contact with existing charitable organizations with background and cooperate with them. The association will further strengthen the cooperation of the online-based volunteers in these free web-based projects for the creation, collection and distribution of free content through personal contacts between participants and promote continuing education through training programs. Groups of volunteers from various sectors of production, collection and distribution of free content found in these interdisciplinary events planned together and cooperate with the goal of mutual development of their personal skills.
The purpose of the Association are to serve in particular:
* The free distribution and promotion of content distribution, in particular through training sessions for volunteers in internet-based free and every man freely available databases such as online encyclopedias, online resource collections and similar projects. In particular, the award of scholarships to attend such training courses is part of the association's purpose to ensure free access to training for everyone regardless of ensuring its economic performance.
* The procurement, provision and dissemination of information and publicity about free content. This should be done with such events, cooperation with authorities, organizations, public institutions, media partners or information.
* Clarification of scientific, social, cultural and legal issues related to free content, for example, by reports, studies and scholarships.
