Welcome to Skillshare

Skillshare is a non-profit association, which promotes education through the support of Open Content.

Open Content encompasses text, photos and other media that are distributed under a so-called "free license" that allows non-renumerated re-use of these contents in a different context. The free use and reuse of knowledge will open access to education to benefit all people.

Skillshare operates exclusively on a voluntary basis.

The Association does not only support its members, but any volunteer of existing online-based projects around Open Content, such as Wikipedia, OpenStreetMap, Tiki Wiki, Wikiweise, etc.

Skillshare offers a platform for the exchange and sharing of skills between the supporters of Open Content. Through the association's project commitees one can participate in the Skillshare approach, drawing on our infrastructure and the experience, which are open to anyone who wants to promote the collection, compilation and dissemination of free knowledge through Open Content.
